Does your employer have a donation matching program?
Many employers will match – in some cases, double match – employee contributions to the Symphony of the Potomac. That’s right – $25 becomes $50, $50 becomes $100, and $100 becomes $200 – all through your employer’s generosity. Your Human Resources, Public Affairs, or Community Engagement department can tell you what you need to know to double your donation without doubling the size of your check. In most cases, you just send a form with your check, or fill out a form online. Subsidiaries are generally included.

Support live music for the community while earning a tax deduction for yourself: donate your used vehicle to SOTP! Every donation provides funds for our annual childrens’ concerts, music and facility rentals, and our collaborations with featured soloists.
At no charge, we’ll arrange to pick up your car, truck, boat, motorcycle or RV—even non-running vehicles—and we can do this anywhere in the United States. You’ll receive an IRS-approved receipt for your donation. (See IRS Publication 4303, "A Donor’s Guide to Vehicle Donation" for more information.)
